OTHER OPTIONS
San Miguel has many great accommodation options, when we were visiting last year we opted for an Airbnb near Centro but there are also many beautiful boutique hotels to choose from. If you would like the option to explore the town easily, we would recommend staying within a 10 minute walk from Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY HOTEL?
We recommend booking your hotel as soon as you can. November - April are the most popular dates to travel to San Miguel de Allende.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
We recommend arriving on or before Saturday, February 6th, as we will kick off the weekend with welcome drinks on Saturday evening.
Consider extending your stay before or after the wedding to fully experience the magic of San Miguel. We will be around all week before the wedding. For our New Zealand and Australian guests, we would recommend arriving early enough to adjust to the change in time zone (19 hours).
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED FOR THE WEDDING WEEKEND?
The weekend will begin with rooftop Welcome Drinks and dessert on Saturday
evening at 7:30PM, location to be confirmed.
Sunday morning and early afternoon you have some time to explore. Please be sure to arrive at location TBD by 4:00PM to catch the provided shuttle transportation, departing at 4:15PM. The wedding ceremony at Casa Adela will begin promptly at 5:00PM, followed by the reception. Shuttles will depart from and return to location TBD.
ARE CHILDREN WELCOME AT THE WEDDING EVENTS?
Our wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday are adult-only events. However, children are welcome to join the Saturday and Monday events.
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the wedding invitation.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T RSVP IN TIME
If we don't receive your RSVP by Friday the 31st of July, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue and caterer and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. Thank you for understanding.

Dress Code
WELCOME DRINKS
SMART CASUAL
For our welcome drinks, we invite you to dress in smart casual attire. We’ll be celebrating outdoors, so we recommend you bring a light layer as it cools down at night.
WEDDING CEREMONY + RECEPTION
BLACK TIE
The dress code for our wedding day is black tie. For men, this typically means a tuxedo or black suit with a bow tie or tie. For women, a floor-length gown, or formal evening wear is perfect, colour is encouraged.

DAY AFTER CELEBRATION
SMART CASUAL
Dress for a pool day, swimmers encouraged!
GENERAL ADVICE
San Miguel's weather is warm during the day but cools off at night. When exploring the city, we recommend bringing a light jacket for evenings and comfortable walking shoes, for navigating the city's cobblestone streets.
CAN I RENT A TUXEDO IN SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE?
No, unfortunately, you cannot rent a tuxedo in San Miguel de Allende as there are no rental services available locally.

Registry
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in Mexico. Having you there truly means the world to us. We know that traveling for a destination wedding takes time, effort, and expense, and your presence is more than enough of a gift. Because of this, we’ve chosen not to have a wedding registry. Thank you for making the journey to share such a special moment with us. Your support and love are all we could ask for.
Much love,
Alden + Emma
